BRASELTON, Georgia (September 30th, 2016) – With its win from the pole at Road America putting an exclamation point on a Cinderella season, Multimatic Motorsports’ #15 Ford Shelby GT350R-C captured the 2016 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSC) driver’s and team championships, while simultaneously clinching the manufacturer’s title for Ford Motor Company. The triumph also marks the first CTSC title won on Multimatic’s Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve (DSSV™) dampers (eligible in the series only since 2014).

In earning this title threesome, team drivers Scott Maxwell and Billy Johnson combined for six wins and six pole positions in 2016, a dominant performance in the first full season of competition for the GT350R-C. Though drivers and car share most of the limelight, Multimatic extends its heartfelt congratulations to the entire #15 crew, as this was a hard-fought campaign victory made possible only by a superlative team effort.
