Multimatic launches new Electronic Systems division

MARKHAM, Ontario (Mar. 18th, 2021) – Multimatic announces the launch of Multimatic Electronic Systems (MES), a new division headquartered in Cambridge, UK, with complementary resources in Canada and the USA, enabling Multimatic to deliver complete active suspension, adaptive suspension, active aero and powered doors solutions.

Strategically based within the Cambridge UK innovation hub, the division represents a significant commitment by Multimatic to the development of advanced automotive electronics and software. It will also enhance Multimatic’s existing capabilities in functional safety engineering, vehicle system integration and electrical design.

The establishment of this new division comes at a critical time in the fast-changing automotive sector, as the market for software-intensive automotive electronic systems is expected to grow substantially going forward. MES will meet this increase in demand by enhancing and expanding Multimatic’s electronics integration and software engineering expertise and product portfolio in global markets.
