- Multimatic Motorsports was tasked with designing, engineering and building the brand new Mustang Boss 302R race car
- Multimatic Motorsports ran a two-car, factory-backed entry in the Grand-Am Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS class with drivers Scott Maxwell, Joe Foster, Gunnar Jeannette and Frank Montecalvo
- Highlights of the season included three pole positions; however race results were hampered due to reliability issues
- Multimatic Motorsports continued to operate as the official factory partner to Ford Racing
