Below are a number of community support services that may be of use to those affected by the UAW strike action:

A non-denominational, Christian, non-profit organization, Hopetown is focused on bringing hope to Lewisburg and Marshall County, Tennessee by providing community assistance in the form of:

    • Food: They constantly maintain a supply of non-perishable food items used regularly to assist those in need. These food items are almost entirely provided by local individuals, churches, businesses, schools, and civic organizations. Meet In-The Middle is the name they’ve given to their FREE weekly lunch every Wednesday from 11 am-1 pm
    • Clothing & Other Items: Martha’s Closet is available to those in need. You may shop at no charge for whatever clothing needs you and your family may have.  For adults and children
    • After School Programs: Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 hours from 3:30 to 5:30pm. Food is provided in addition to educational, spiritual, and character enrichment for K through to 6th grade children. NOTE: As in all their programs, there is no cost to the children or their families.
