Multimatic Inc., through its employees, is committed to being an industry leader in the protection and conservation of our natural environment through continual improvement, prevention of pollution and the elimination of waste in our processes.

To this end, we believe in a company-wide ethic whereby environmental responsibilities are essential for global competitiveness in business, as well as being the right choice for future generations.

Multimatic Inc. will minimize the environmental impact of our activities and products on the public, employees, customers and property and will comply with all applicable environmental regulations, as well as any other applicable requirements to which we subscribe.

Our commitment includes principles and practices such as:

• To fulfil our compliance obligations including all applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards.
• Maintaining divisional Environmental Committees. One of the committees’ primary objectives is to pursue, implement and suggest where possible, programs designed to eliminate or minimize waste, the use of chemical or toxic substances in our processes and their impact on the atmosphere, soil, ground water and the community.
• Educating all members of our team on sound and environmentally pro-active practices and procedures. Employee involvement and compliance with environmental standards are included in each individual’s performance review.
• Periodically audit our performance against our environmental objectives and targets, and provide timely reports to senior management.
• Communicate our environmental policies, programs and progress to all employees and other interested parties as applicable.
