Multiple stamping presses, up to 3300 tonne, running progressive and transfer
tooling, combine with advanced automated welding and assembly equipment to produce

Underground scrap removal, a comprehensive quick change tooling standardization
system, and a "back to back" press arrangement, combine to make the Group truly
world class. Unique automated spot and MIG welding lines have been developed
through years of experience to produce the highest achievable quality on the
most complex multi-piece weldments.
As with all of Multimatic's divisions, the SWA Group utilizes leading edge MRP, EDI,
and e-mail systems to assure expedient information exchange and control of
the manufacturing process. Continuous improvement is a way of life at
Multimatic and the SWA Group leads the corporation's Kaizen activities.
