Materials and Equipment

Multimatic Prototypes stocks a wide variety of steel, aluminium sheet, composite materials and tooling materials in secure and controlled storage. Most importantly, the company ensures that all stock is certified by a third party laboratory and tracked by lot.

All finished prototypes are serial-marked and tracked in a comprehensive database linking information including material specifications, tested properties, process control plans, date of fabrication, and quality inspection data.

Consistency is inherent to Multimatic Prototypes. Each part is developed and manufactured with an intense focus on repeatability, achieved by utilizing specialized tools and years of experience. Multimatic Prototypes follows strict Process Control Plans covering design parameters, material specifications, tooling standards, and computer validation of the final part to CAD data. This quality process ensures that the 1000th part is the same as the first.

DNC CO2 laser cutter produces accurate and repeatable parts from steel, aluminum, carbon and even wood, 3000mm by 1540mm in size.
